Hi, thanks for visiting my site. I love reading science fiction short stories, and I’m guessing you do too.

I have found that it is sometimes difficult to find really good science fiction stories to read, so I started this web site to share with you all the really great science fiction short stories I have tracked down and had the pleasure of reading. Hopefully you will find it helpful as you search for great science fiction stories too.

BestScienceFictionStories.com is the result of three things that really frustrated me: Having to read several crappy stories just to find one really good one, trying to decide which short story to read without knowing anything about it except the title, and hearing about a good short story but not knowing where to find it. My frustrations eventually led me to write down and keep track of the good short stories I read, so I could find them again. I started sharing my list with friends and family, and finally decided that there are probably some other people out there that would like this information too. Viola!

So, if you share my love of science fiction short stories - or my frustrations with trying to find good ones - then this site is for you.

What This Site Attempts To Do

Hopefully BestScienceFictionStories.com is accomplishing what I want - and what you are looking for. (If not then please let me know how I can improve it.) Here are my goals for this site:

1. Find the absolute best science fiction short stories
2. Tell you what they are about so you can decide if you want to read them
3. Tell you where you can find them.

How To Use This Site

You can, of course, browse this site any way you like. I have tried to make it easy for you to find and read reviews of great science fiction short stories, though it can be easy to get overwhelmed or not know where to start.

Here are some easy ways to find good science fiction short stories to read:

• Categories - Each short story review I write is tagged with one or more categories. Just click on one of those links to see all the reviews for that specific category.
• Recent Posts - If you just want to see the most recent reviews I have written, then there are a few ways to accomplish that:
  • RSS Feed - you can subscribe to a list of the most recent reviews by clicking on the orange & white icon in the URL field above, or by visiting our feeds page.
  • At the bottom of each page is a section entitled “Recent Post” that will list my ten most recent short story reviews in descending order
  • Science Fiction Short Story Reviews category - Click on this category to see all my reviews, starting with the most recent ones.
• Search - Type what you’re looking for in the search box in the top right corner of the page and it will list all the posts that have your search term in it.
• Archives - This section lists all the reviews I wrote in each month of each year. Click on a month to see all the reviews for that month.
• Calendar - Finally, you can click on a date in the calendar to see all the science fiction short story reviews I wrote on that day.
