The Best Science Fiction Short Stories – and where to find them!
For the most part I try to review science fiction short stories by famous authors. Why? Well, because they have written a lot of the short stories that we have come to know and love and associate with the genre. Though most of the science fiction short stories I've read are from American, British and Canadian authors there are plenty of other famous authors out there too. And there are several contemporary authors who are getting more and more famous each day, so I try to look for stories from them too.
But who, exactly, are the famous science fiction authors? There are plenty of them - including some you may never have heard of. Here's a list of criteria I use to determine famous authors of science fiction short stories:13
