Just Like Mom and Apple Pie
Aah… baseball – a great American past-time. And you know what else is a great American past-time? Alien conspiracy theories! Yeah, it seems like there are tons of eye-witness accounts of “regular” people coming in contact with, or being abducted by aliens. Oh, and it always seems to happen under shady circumstances too.
Anyway, I’m sure this happens in other countries but I have never heard of it – drop me a line and let me know what kind of crazy UFO stuff has happened in your country.
Non-spoiler Summary in a Nutshell
Joe Bauman is a minor league baseball player for the Roswell Rockets – you know, that city in New Mexico where aliens supposedly crashed in 1947. Anyway, baseball is just a fun part-time activity for Joe – he also runs the local Texaco gas station and it is there that he meets some strange people who are also “men of the star and the rockets.” Yeah, it’s good to have people watching out for you – especially when you are closing in on the home run record!
