It Starts Out Strong
Most of the stories I read at Tor.com are really good – and this one was no exception. I very much enjoyed reading about what Death does after his job is all finished. The first half of this story is totally funny, but the second half waxed a little bit too philosophical for my tastes. Oh, and be sure to check out the cool artwork by Jon Foster!
Non-spoiler Summary in a Nutshell
Death, War, Famine and Pestilence have ended all life on Earth. Really – even the bacteria are dead! So, what are they to do now? Well, they wander around for a few centuries – sometimes hanging out together, sometimes going it alone. But when Death comes upon a strange discovery he and his brothers decide it’s time to take a stand against the all-knowing Consensus.
