Another Great Million Writers Award Story
Here is another very cool story I read for the Million Writers Award. Although I have read other stories about the end of the Earth, this one was uniquely touching, and made me wonder what the end of our planet will really be like.
Non-spoiler Summary in a Nutshell
Ter is a woman who is taking a trip to old Earth to watch its final moments as it is engulfed by the (now red giant) sun. She could only afford an economy trip, and consequently can hear the thoughts of some other people – like a school teacher and a tour guide – as they explain their view of what is happening. Ter, however, is very touched by the actual end of the Earth.
