Ursula Le Guin's stories included in Buffalo Gals and Other Animal Presences, especially "Buffalo Gals, Won't You Come Out Tonight" and "The Author of the Acacia Seeds." the great graphic novel (not a story OK, but it's short, anyway) WE3 by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely.
