I have added a new section to BestScienceFictionStories.com: a free, online short story library. My hope is that by adding high quality HTML versions of stories more people will read them. It only has a couple of stories to begin with, but I plan on adding several more science fiction short stories as time goes on. Take a look by clicking on the Library link above.
If you know of any other great SciFi stories that are in the public domain, or creative commons licensed, let me know and I’ll get to work adding them. Eventually I would like to add some famous stories by big name authors, but I still have to learn how to go about doing that – you know: contacting the author and / or publisher, setting up some sort of contract, maybe paying for the story – things like that. I would really like to get some Michael Swanwick or Terry Bisson stories, and I wouldn’t mind publishing stuff from lesser known authors either.
Anyway, please let me know what you think of the new Science Fiction Short Story Library.
